Therapy Funding, Grants, & Living Resources

There are a number of organizations that may provide funding for children with disabilities. They cover a wide array of funding purposes such as therapy, equipment, accessibility, medications, recreational opportunities, and many other items and services. These certain organizations have certain grant/funding criteria so please be sure to check their websites (or call them) for funding details.

The Pediatric Angel Network provides financial and material assistance to families of children with a long-term illness or disability. Families may be experiencing difficulty due to expenses not covered by insurance. Our 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization was created to help these families ease some of the hardships they may be encountering due to their child's illness or disability. This charity exists to help these families obtain the resources required to give their child a fighting chance.

Chase’s Warrior Foundation makes access to appropriate adaptive equipment possible for children with disabilities and special needs. The primary purpose of this equipment should be to enhance the applicant’s potential for recreation, mobility, and everyday living success. The mission of the review board is to provide awards to as many individuals as possible. Funds are limited and not all applicants will receive an award.

The Orange Effect Foundation makes sure children with speech disorders receive the speech therapy and technology equipment they need...especially when the children's family doesn't have the financial means.

Modest Needs offers grants designed to promote the self-sufficiency of individuals and families who, because they are working and live just above the poverty level, are ineligible for most types of conventional social assistance but who, all the same, are living one or two lost paychecks away from the kind of financial catastrophe that eventually leads to homelessness.

United Healthcare Children's Foundation’s mission is to significantly enhance the clinical condition or quality of life of children covered under a commercial health insurance plan who are 16 years old or younger living in the United States. They provide financial assistance for therapy services (they also provide ABA assistance with a one-time grant for children 3-6).

The LENN Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charity that provides grant opportunities for children with cerebral palsy to receive pediatric intensive therapies to thrive in their everyday lives.

Kosairs For Kids provides financial assistance to cover the cost of therapy services/medical needs for children.

Challenged America offers funding to disadvantaged, physically or developmentally challenged children. They will assist with medical attention, rehabilitative therapy, and/or assistive devices.
